Susan Telford Boyd

Susan Telford is a graduate of the University of Washington and Northwestern University, with additional studies at Music Academy of the West. She has been a member of the Tacoma Symphony, Elgin Symphony, Evansville Philharmonic, Chicago Chamber Orchestra, several chamber groups, and many festivals, as well as serving as substitute/extra with the Seattle Symphony, Seattle Opera, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and nearly every major ensemble in the Seattle area.  She also performs regularly with Saratoga Orchestra of Whidbey and the Auburn Symphony.  With the ensemble Quake and a child in tow she performed at the Pacific Rim Music Festival in California, the CrossSound Festival in Alaska, and the Music Biennale Zagreb.  Susan has premiered many works by living composers, and has performed on countless movie and videogame soundtracks and various other recording projects. In addition to her private students, she has served as artist/faculty of several institutions, including the University of Evansville, Midsummer Musical Retreat, and SYSO Summer Music.
