Violinist Angie Kam is an established teacher and performer in the Seattle area. In addition to playing with the North Corner Chamber Orchestra, Angie plays with the Yakima Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Tacoma, and the Tacoma City Ballet. She regularly performs recitals as a chamber and solo musician with the Ladies Musical Club of Seattle. As a pop violinist, Angie has performed with Idina Menzel, Il Divo, Michael Buble, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and she is an active studio-recording musician for movies and videogames. Angie also maintains a successful violin studio of over 30 wonderful students in Bellevue. Angie holds a Bachelor in Violin Performance from the University of Oregon, and a Master in Violin Performance and String Pedagogy from the Boston Conservatory. In her spare time Angie enjoys mountaineering, hiking, and yoga.
